Show us something that is standing in your way.
Sometimes it feels as if it would be a picture of myself, head in hands...being held back by fear.
I ran across a video today. Hadn't seen it before...and it floored me. I watched it three times in a row...and cried every single time.
The pain, the fear, the anxiety the character in the skit goes through...I've been there. I've been her. Pulled so many different directions that I didn't know what was real. Felt like ending it all, just to stop the hurting, end the pain.
And yet...
Knowing I couldn't. Knowing that there was no more final way to say "NO" to God and His plans for my life than by committing suicide.
I kept seeking God. I have no doubts that he had His hand on me. Was holding back the hoards.
And then I broke free.
The love of Christ that is so very evident in this skit is real. It's what saved me, in many more ways than one.
